Hello, my name is Dr. Buddy. You can probably tell from my scrubs and my stethoscope that my job is to provide medical care to my fellow animals. I m a very busy dog! My days are filled with giving exams and shots, stitching up wounds, taking x-rays to find out why a dog or cat doesn't feel good, and reassuring my patients when they come in sick or injured.
I had to study for a long time to become a veterinarian, and I had to learn a lot about animal bodies, how to figure out what might be making an animal sick, and how to make him or her feel better. It was worth every minute of it! It makes me very happy to be able to help and heal my patients.
