Paws for a Cause Movie Night & Dog Hunt Winner

Paws for a Cause Movie Night & Dog Hunt Winner
More than 50 people attended movie night on a rainy Friday evening. All enjoyed seeing all the Paws For A Cause dogs together in one room and watching the movie "Lady and the Tramp". Dr. Steve Farley chose the winning Dog Hunt card from more than 150 submissions as onlookers crossed their fingers and hoped that they would be the winner. Stefan Keilich, an 8th grader from Sage Park Middle School won the 1000 savings bond. Stefan says he liked all the dogs but that he was partial to the Bull dog and Jag, the German Shepherd. His favorite part of the dog hunt was meeting the business owners and visiting their locations. Congratulations!

Cosmos

Cosmos
Artist: Jennifer Lee Moreau, Granby CT
Sponsor: Bill Selig Jewelers

My name is Cosmos, and as you can guess I came into this world starry eyed and ready to shine! My Mom and Dad had a hard time keeping me "down to earth" and would often try to ground me with comments such as you are such a lucky guy to have the whole universe on your feet. Many have pondered the mysterious nature that keeps me ever changing and full of surprises!! I hope that you find me intriguing and remember that we are but tiny specks floating through this universe, but oh- the profound impact we can make!!! Thank you to my sponsor! The stars in the universe are like the diamonds at Bill Selig Jewelers.

Hello, My name is Dog-Virsity, and I'm a dog with an important message. I'm very proud of my incredible coat, with all its different faces and colors. I am like the world itself filled with so many different kinds of people, and all of them beautiful. Do you notice how the faces all merge into one another? Despite our differences, we share so much, and it s so important for all of us to come together to take care of the earth and each other. We have a lot to learn from each other!

Hi my name is Doodles. I grew up in Southern CT and went to UCONN Law School. I am now a lawyer in a small town helping people with wills, buying a house, starting a business and many other things. I am called Doodle because I really enjoy doodling. I think that it has a very calming effect and is an excellent way of helping a person to concentrate or to relieve stress. I began doodling in high school and doodled all through college and law school. I continue to doodle and encourage everyone to give it a try!

I am very lucky to have been chosen by the Law Office of Johnson, Dowe, Brown and Barbarotta to be a part of their top notch legal team!
