WEF is proud and honored to have received an official citation from the State of Connecticut General Assembly for 10 years of service to the community.

The citation was presented to WEF at its September 8, 2017 Wine Bottle Bingo fundraiser by Rep. Scott A. Storms, 60th District, and was introduced by him along with his colleagues Rep. Brandon L. McGee, Jr., 5th District, Senator John A. Kissel, 7th District, Rep. Tami Zawistowski, 61st District, Rep. David A. Baram, 15th District, and Senator Douglas McCrory, 2nd District.

The citation reads:
“Be it hereby known to all that the Connecticut General Assembly hereby offers its sincerest congratulations to Windsor Education Foundation in recognition of the occasion of your 10th year of service as a non-profit organization formed by citizens dedicated to supporting Windsor’s teachers and students. You have encouraged support for excellence in public education and provided funding for innovative projects and programs in the Windsor Public Schools. Many thanks and best wishes for continued success in providing these invaluable services in support of public education.”

The citation will be displayed in the Windsor Board of Education offices.
