Lisa Douglas has lived in Windsor for the past twenty years and is the proud mother of three Windsor students. One is a freshman in college, one attends Windsor High School and the third is currently a Sage Park student.  Through her children, she has had many opportunities to interact with Windsor schools over the years, and has developed a deep respect and appreciation for our schools and our teachers.

In her professional life, Lisa has spent more than 25 years in the health care and insurance industry.  She currently serves as the Director of Performance Analytics for the Connecticut Hospital Association.  Previously she worked for Optum, CIGNA and Blue Cross Blue Shield.  She was also self-employed as a consultant for four years.  Her expertise lies in the areas of leading large projects, developing strategies, and defining analytics needs and designing tools to help health care leaders control costs and improve quality.

Lisa previously served for two years as the President of the Windsor Diamond Club, a 501(c) 3 entity that supports the Windsor High School Baseball program.  She also volunteers with the Windsor Youth Theatre in various capacities including publicity, set work (building and painting) and photography.  She and her family organize and host the annual Thanksgiving Day Windsor Giblet Jog; a fun 5-K run whose proceeds benefit the Windsor Food and Fuel Bank.

Lisa earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Western New England University and also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
