The annual Windsor Education Foundation (WEF) grant application cycle is open in September each year. WEF gives out grants to teachers with creative, innovative education projects that would not normally be funded by the school budget.

All certified staff of Windsor Public Schools are eligible to apply. Applications are available at windsoreducationfoundation.org Applications are due by 5:00 pm on October 29, 2023.

The Windsor Education Foundation awards teachers grants of up to $1,500 and looks for a variety of proposals from all grade levels and schools that 1) Are consistent with the Windsor Board of Education goals, 2) Impact students with varying learning abilities, 3) Fall outside the regular operating budget, 4) Will ultimately impact/benefit a large number of individuals, 5) Encourage professional collaboration, and 6) Promote school and community communication.

WEF is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization made up of Windsor volunteers whose mission is to support Windsor children in the education system.
