Maureen has embraced the community of Windsor as a home away from home and has participated in numerous volunteer activities in Windsor. She is a Project Manager with the Group Benefits division of The Hartford with over 30 years of IT experience, having completed various programming and project management certification programs. A life long volunteer, Maureen was the chairperson of the ING Community Partners volunteer team for 5 years. Until leaving ING in 2012, she continued to coordinate a number of volunteer events each year at ING as well as acted as senior advisor to the ING Community Partners board in Windsor. In 2012, Maureen received The President’s Volunteer Service Award. She was also the “Big Sister” to Sarah for 11 years through the Nutmeg Big Brothers Big Sisters. Prior to her involvement with WEF, Maureen was a Windsor Chamber of Commerce Board of Director.

Born and raised in Manchester and a graduate of Manchester High, Maureen attended Data Processing Institute and Manchester Community College for programming and Information Technology. Maureen lives in Manchester with Joe, her husband of 42 years. Together they enjoy traveling as frequently as possible, often with some of their grandchildren in tow. They have two grown daughters and currently 15 grandchildren.
