860 Gives

We are pleased to announce that the Windsor Education Foundation will be part of the new  860 Gives program!

860 Gives is a 48 hour giving blitz in the 860 area code powered by United Way and modeled after Rhode Island’s wildly successful 401Gives which raised 4.9 million dollars for no-profits in that area.

The event runs for 48 hours from 6:00 am on March 31 to 6:00 am on April 2.

On March 31 – April 2, 2026, 860Gives powered by United Way Central and Northeastern Connecticut is bringing our community together for a transformative event: 48 hours to change lives across 56 Connecticut towns.

Right now, the nonprofits keeping our communities strong are stretched thin and operating with shrinking resources. The people they serve? They’re our friends, coworkers and neighbors. These organizations deliver critical services to help our communities succeed.

When we all give a little, it adds up to a lot. 860Gives makes it easy to support the causes you care about, and every dollar goes directly where it’s needed most—unrestricted funds that let nonprofits respond to real needs in real time.

With over 120 organizations on board, we have the scale and support to deliver meaningful results. Let’s show what the 860 region can do when we come together.
