kathryn grimshaw parkerKathryn Grimshaw Parker, born and raised in Windsor, has been an educator for over a decade. Beginning as a seventh and eighth grade English Language Arts teacher and then moving into roles in school administration, Kathryn believes that classrooms should be safe, equitable spaces where all students thrive and can be their authentic selves. The centering of JOY and anti-racism is foundational in educational spaces and Kathryn is grateful to all of the educators who engage in the personal and interpersonal work in order to build these foundations.

Kathryn has a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Manhattanville College in Purchase, New York, a Master’s Degree from the University of Saint Joseph in West Hartford, Connecticut, and received her School Administration Certification from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut.
Kathryn currently lives in Windsor with her husband Ryan, their daughter Luna and their dog, Nova. You can often find them on the weekends gardening and hiking.
