Team Paragon Robotics now has a Digital Positioning Readout mounted on machining. The FIRST Robotics season begins each January, and students are being trained during the fall in preparation for the upcoming build season. Trained students will use this technology for hands-on learning of precision manufacturing in the process of building their robot for competition. The Digital Positioning Readout is a long-term investment for Team Paragon, and will benefit students for many years.
The mission of FIRST is to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders and innovators, by engaging them in exciting Mentor-based programs that build science, engineering, and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.
