WEF Chosen as Beneficiary of Windsor Chamber Cares Auction

The Windsor Education Foundation (WEF) is pleased to announce that it has been selected to be a beneficiary of the 2025 Windsor Chamber Cares auction to be held on June 18.

“We’re very excited to be a part of the Windsor Chamber auction,” said WEF President, Daniell Hynes. “Our board members are actively seeking item donations from the community to help make the auction a great success.”  To donate an item, call Paula Pierce at 860-712-5514 or email info@windsoreducationfoundation.org. “We would also like to encourage the community to come to the auction and support all the beneficiaries,” said Paula Pierce, WEF Board Secretary.

The Windsor Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization made up of volunteers that awards grants up to $1,500 to Windsor educators. In choosing grant recipients, WEF looks for a variety of proposals from all grade levels and schools that 1) Are consistent with Windsor Board of Education goals, 2) Impact students with varying learning abilities, 3) Fall outside the regular operating budget, 4) Will ultimately impact/benefit a large number of individuals,  5) Encourage professional collaboration, and 6) Promote school and community communication.
